Yesterday & Today’s Records & CDs

I found myself in this store randomly one weekday. Although all the events leading up to weren’t so random.

This store was lined with old concert posters, CD, and vinyl. It smelled of an old library masked with the clean smell of old plastic. It was a quit room with two large men standing around talking bout the good old days, and even though it had been my boyfriend idea to go and not mine it was a prefect place.

I walked around and absorbed the thousand of song titles, but I was overwhlemd. My boyfriend was in heaven.

It was the prefect place for hipster to be. Lost to decades of time lay prefect CDs and records waiting to be given new life.

The exact reason we were there and the exact reason the store Yesterday and Tomorrow Records and CDs exists.

The staff was friendly and kind and very knowledgeable.

Don’t quote me – but I overheard these very doors where instructed to be torn down because they didn’t meet fire code. I will follow up with the owner, but hopefully this is not true. They’re a beautiful set of doors that rather remind me of Game of Thrones.

I ended up buying my very first record here – Lady Gaga’s The Fame, as well as a CD – Michael Bubble’s Come Fly With Me.
